This electioneering myth is nonsense, says Thulas Nxesi

The accusations that the government is luring voters through job creation and delivering other services is short-sighted, inaccurate and nonsense according to Employment and Labour Minister, Thulas Nxesi.

The Department launched 55 employment programmes in Nasrec on Saturday.

He said, “The myth that we’re electioneering is short-sighted and historically inaccurate.”

“Government continues its work right up to the 28th of May.”

“This thing that its an electioneering scheme by Ramaphosa and so on it’s nonsense.”

“What is the right time to implement a job’s programme? The issue of unemployment has been a problem for number of administrations.”
