Media personality Bonang Matheba might be it girl when it comes to presenting but there was Zandi Nhlapho before her. In a recent episode of Being Bonang, Queen B met Zandi at Somizi and Mohale’s wedding.
The pair couldn’t hold back and showered each other with praises for the work they’ve done in the TV presenting space respectively. Bonang then told the former SABC 1 continuity presenter how much of an influence she’s been in her life. I love you so much. You inspired my start. Zandi Nhlapho is the reason why I wanted to be a continuity presenter. She is iconic, and that’s not even the word,” Bonang said. Zandi, who is now a businesswoman, thanked Bonang for the great work she is doing.
“Thank you for taking the baton and running with it,” she said. Zandi doesn’t do any TV work as she’s been concentrating on her catering business. The last time she had a show was on e.tv’s Cooking Gospel.
Despite keeping a low profile from the media, in 2015 she managed to grab some bad press for allegedly assaulting, kidnapping and torturing a family member. Luckily for her, the charges were subsequently dropped.
