Popular South African songstress Kelly Khumalo’s daughter Thingo has made fans believe she has inherited her late father Senzo Meyiwa’s soccer skills. This is after the singer posted a video of the young girl playing in a soccer game over the weekend.
Thingo was just seven months old when her Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper dad was shot and killed in 2014.
In an Instagram post, Kelly Khumalo shared a glimpse of her soccer mom duties over the weekend.
“A proud mom. Thingo scored three goals”, she captioned a video clip.

In it, the ten-year-old was seen running circles around a group of boys during a soccer match.
In the comment section, fans were convinced that Thingo had inherited her dad, Senzo Meyiwa’s soccer talent.

Thingo is Senzo Meyiwa’s third daughter, whom he conceived with his girlfriend Kelly Khumalo. At the time of his death in 2014, Thingo was only seven months old. He was also married to Mandisa Mkhize, with whom he also has a daughter, Nana.
Having no recollection of her father, Thingo has also inherited her soccer star’s looks.
“Senzo Meyiwa photocopy and “Senzo’s replica” are some of the comments by fans about the bubbly young girl.
Senzo Meyiwa’s firstborn is daughter Namhla. The teen lives with Senzo’s mother, Ntombifuthi, who is also her legal guardian, in Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal.
According to Diski365, the young girl is being financially supported by the NGO Red Ants. She’s also received assistance from Senzo’s fellow Orlando Pirates colleague Brilliant Khuzwayo.
While Namla’s biological mother is unknown, Senzo’s wife, Mandisa Mkhize, has also adopted the young girl as her own.
Senzo Meyiwa’s second child is Nana, a daughter whom he shared with his wife Mandisa.
The now 15-year-old bears a striking similarity to her famous dad and is often spotted on her mom’s Instagram account. The vibrant teen loves fashion, hanging out with her friends, and spending quality time with her mom.
Meanwhile, TimesLive reported that Senzo Meyiwa’s fourth child – a son – was introduced to his family several months after his death.
The publication claims the baby boy was born shortly after Thingo in 2013.
