American actress Issa Rae rocks Thebe Magugu’s design – Photos
Designer Thebe Magugu’s fans are proud of him as American actress Issa Rae wore his designs on one of the episodes of drama series, Insecure.
Issa stars in the series and also created it.
It returned for its fifth season last week and Issa wore Thebe Magugu’s petrol green jacket and skirt on the second episode.
Thebe took to social media to share a photo of Issa wearing the jacket during the episode. He also said that the jacket has the South African Constitution written inside.
He said it was from the AW20 collection he showed at Paris Fashion Week.
“Issa Rae wears the Thebe Magugu Petrol Green Jacket and Skirt in the latest episode of Insecure. The jacket has South Africa’s Constitution printed on the back lining, which is shown through an intentional tear. From the AW20 collection shown at Paris Fashion Week,” he wrote. His fans and followers congratulated him on international stars wearing his clothes.
A follower shared other photos of Issa wearing Thebe’s designs and said she has worn his clothes on many occasions. She also wore his jacket in an episode in season four.

Last month, British actress and singer Michaela Coel also wore a Thebe Magugu AW21 half cape wool suit at the Emmy Awards afterparty.
