Unit Manager Theatre – Pretoria East
The incumbent will be responsible coordinating improved quality nursing care by ensuring compliance to professional and ethical practice.
The Unit Manger will also be responsible for ensuring that nursing care and service delivery is implemented and practiced within a multi-disciplinary quality assurance team.
In accordance will be accountable for coordinating capacity building, mentoring and training.

management experience : 2 to 3 years
nursing experience : 6 to 7 years
Candidate Requirements
Requirements
A relevant nursing diploma (BCur Degree / Diploma in General Nursing)
Postgraduate qualification in Operating Theatre Technique
Registration with SANC as a Registered Nurse
ACLS, PALS, ITLS training would be an advantage
Compliance with SNC code for a Registered Nurse and all applicable health care legislation
7 or more years of experience as a Rn in Theatre and Surgical Units
2 or more years of experience in a private hospital setting as a Unit Manager or Clinical Nurse Specialist
Experience in clinical leadership
Intermediate level computer literacy is required
