The demand of Condoms have gone down since the pandemic

The demand for condoms has slumped since the pandemic began two years ago. The world’s largest maker of condoms, Karex, says sales have dived by as much as 40 percent in the last two years.
Bloomberg quotes the company as saying, even though people spent more time at home amid lockdowns to curb the spread of the virus, s.e.xual activity using condoms didn’t increase.
The closure of hotels and the suspension of government condom handouts also likely impacted the drop in sales.
The Malaysian company, which makes one out of every five condoms worldwide, says it is now moving into the booming medical glove-making business.
