The Braai Show With Cass Season 2 Ends Tonight
SABC 1 has announced that the second season of Cassper Nyovest‘s highly acclaimed Braai Show With Cass, is coming to an end this evening. The season finale is set to feature fitness enthusiast and Kwaito legend Kabelo Mabalane, and that will be the last episode this season.

Since the start of the second season, it has been marred by drama. This follows after AKA tried to stop the show from airing. AKA, Makhaducom Media and Cake Media were recently involved in a legal battle over AKA’s exclusion from the second season. The rapper claimed he owned 50% of the show. He tried to stop it from airing but he did not succeed. He released a statement saying:
“By now as you are aware, The Braai Show goes to air tonight on SABC 1. This matter for me has always been about business principles and asserting my legal rights to my intellectual property and a binding contractual clause that clearly states that myself and MakhuduCom are equal partners to the Braai Show.

As a result of his dissatisfaction with Phil’s reporting, he broke his silence for the first time. “I’m not even gonna explain anything my dawg. You always have the answers in your tweet but fact is, I made Big Bank and my client is very happy with my service. Everywhere I go I meet fans who watch it religiously and there is talks of a rerun,” answered Cass to a fan who asked him about this.
The rapper was recently criticized by Slik Talk in a scathing video. Slik Talk said his show was failing. “ First of all this is what I was saying about emotional intelligence intelligence, something you don’t know about Cassper. Everything that I said about you in my video was facts. Your music is trash and that’s a fact. Your TV show is flopping thats a fact. Your merch is garbage and no one has bought it. This year and that’s a fact. No one is conspiring against you. Stop behaving like a teenage girl” he said.
Only time will tell if the rapper will return as a host for the second season.
