Well-known former Big Brother Mzansi contestant Thato Immaculate has joined SABC’s Metro FM. Entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela reports that the reality TV star will co-host a new show on Metro FM.
The SABC confirms that the media personality will join Quinton “Naked DJ“ Masina on the music and urban lifestyle show on Saturdays from 18:00 – 21:00.
The rising star previously starred in 1Magic’s telenovela The River as Nthabiseng Maleka alongside Vuyo Biyela.
The popular media personality previously took to social media to share a snippet of her character in The River.
Sunday World reported that her character will bring trouble for one of the Hlophe brothers… Mlilo (played by Vuyo Biyela).
“Dreams come true; prayers get answered. If you know me you know this is my daily prayer Jesus, you’ve been good to me. May I decrease and you increase? May you be glorified through my life,” she wrote.

Metro FM on Friday, 15 March announced that the new lineup will see some DJ’s returning as well as adding new talent to the station.
TV and radio personality, Rorisang Thandekiso with host a show called Command your day weekday mornings from 05:00 to 06:00.
Roxanne McKenzie will join Ryan the DJ on Urban Beat on Fridays 22:00 to 00:00 and Saturdays from 21:00 to 00:00.
Listeners will also hear a fresh voice, Zola Myeza, who joins Somizi Mhlongo on the 6:00 to 9:00 slot titled The Weekend Breakfast Sounds Good.
Talented radio personality, Paul Mtirara will present The Chill Factor between 12:00 to 15:00. This means the Sunday Soul Therapy with Msizi Shembe will move to the 21:00 to 00:00 timeslot.
The station also bids farewell to legendary broadcaster, Nothemba Madumo, as well as Oscar “Oskido” Mdlongwa, Siya Mhlongo, and Sphe “SPHEctacula” Ngwenya.
The 2024/25 lineup effective will be effective from 1 April 2024.
