There are a few on-screen characters that are as unlucky in love as The Queen‘s Thato. His situation is so bad that guy can’t even get out of the friend zone.

Since Thato came into the lives of people in Mzansi, they have had to watch him suffer on their TVs. Initially, all his suffering wasn’t necessarily related to love and although viewers sympathised, it wasn’t until after that they wished he could go back to being blackmailed.

Anything is better than Thato’s constant return to the friend zone even after several attempts to escape it. First, it was Martha and now it’s Mamiki… every girl Thato ever crushed on gave him a one-way ticket to the friend zone. It’s just sad fam.
