Govt should be embarrassed, says GroundUP Editor on Thabo Bester saga
News publication GroundUP broke the news of Thabo Bester’s escape back in November last year.
Editor Nathan Geffen says more people need to be held accountable for Bester’s escape.
Bester and Nandipha Magudumana were arrested in Tanzania on Friday.
At the same time, Geffen says it’s unacceptable that it took the correctional service department ten months to realize that Bester had escaped from the Mangaung prison.
