Police have confirmed the death of an investigator into the Thabo Bester escape case.
The senior officer was the provincial head of organized crime in the Free State.

The National Prosecuting Authority in the Free State has welcomed the judgment in Dr. Nandipha Magudumana’s case. The Bloemfontein High Court dismissed with costs Magudamana’s application to have her arrest declared illegal.
NPA Provincial spokesperson, Pheladi Shuping says there is a possibility of more arrests. “We have said it before that once there is an investigative process underway, everything is a possibility,” he said. Learn More
