Thabo Bester escape suspects to appear in court

Three more suspects in the Thabo Bester escape saga will appear in court on Wednesday.

All three are G4S employees.

The trio faces charges of assisting an inmate to escape from lawful custody, violation of a corpse, and corruption.

In May last year, convicted rapist and murderer Bester faked his own suicide and escaped from his cell in Bloemfontein.

He was eventually recaptured in Tanzania, earlier this year.

Twelve people in total are facing charges in connection to Bester’s escape.
