Sandton City trading as normal following terrorist attack warning

Sandton City is trading as usual despite the US embassy’s warning of a possible terrorist attack this weekend, according to its owner, Liberty Two Degrees.
It says it’s actively monitoring the situation and has appropriate security measures in and around the mall.
The President’s office says threats are assessed continuously and it says the public will be informed should the need arise.
Meanwhile, according to the Institute for Security Studies, the United States terror threat warning must be taken seriously.
It says to give such a specific warning there must be credible intelligence.
