Ingram Micro South Africa is looking for Telemarketing Specialist. The Telemarketing Specialist serves as a resource for the vendor, re-seller, Sales and Product Management. The Telemarketing Executive must be aware of all promotional vendor programs and assigned customer lists to engage with all pertinent teams and execute the assigned outbound calling activities as per the scope assigned (vendor surveys, greeting new customers, customer profiling, marketing campaign execution, lead qualification, etc.). They also liaise with other sales members, vendors, product management teams and management as they are required to resolve basic to moderately complex transaction issues and should be able to navigate through various functions of Ingram Micro. This includes sharing of critical business information with customers and service providers where needed to provide speed and performance levels to Ingram Micro customers

Job Qualification:

Commercial knowledge and/or equivalent work experience;
1+ years of customer facing experience is an advantage
Strong knowledge in English
Advanced professional, effective telephone techniques and customer care
Understanding of IT/distribution industry is an advantage
Previous knowledge of working through the Sales Cycle in a similar organization is strongly recommended
Moderate computer and MS Office knowledge
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills
Strong organizational skills and problem solving agility also required
A customer driven approach and good customer management skills
Effective time management skills
Multi-task and respond to rapid change
Perform duties with accuracy and with a strong degree of urgency
Ability to communicate with several levels of associates internally and externally in an accurate and professional manner
Ability to report and project accurately and according to agreed time frames
