Watch: Pupil in serious trouble after pouring his teacher with water on Spring Day

A Grade 8 pupil at Capricorn High School in Polokwane, Limpopo, has been suspended. This after the pupil ran amok, showering his teacher with water on Spring Day.

The pupil was told to stay home for seven days to allow for the disciplinary processes to take place.

Limpopo Education spokeswoman Tidimalo Chuene said the pupil was placed on suspension for due disciplinary processes, in line with the school’s code of conduct, to unfold.

In a short video that has since gone viral on social media, the pupil can be seen approaching the teacher, who is standing under a shade, and sprinkling water over him.

The teacher can be seen trying to chase the pupil, but he manages to escape while being cheered on by fellow pupils.

MEC Polly Boshielo took to social media to express her disappointment from the disrespectful actions of the pupil.

“I have an appointment with the pupil and his parents on Friday, 3 September. We can’t allow such behaviour in our schools,” she said.
