Teacher suspended on s.e.xual misconduct allegations
The Eastern Cape Education Department has promised to thoroughly investigate allegations of systemic racism and sexual misconduct leveled at a Queenstown Girl’s High School teacher.
It’s alleged that the Life Orientation teacher has had s.e.xual relations with some pupils and even flirted with others who were part of the hockey team, which he coaches.
The individual has since been placed on suspension.
The Eastern Cape Education Department says psychosocial support is also being offered to pupils at the school as investigations into these allegations continue.
