‘Queen B’, as she has fondly been dubbed by her fans, has built a lucrative brand, which has seen her become a force to be reckoned with across the continent.

To name but a few of the many hats B wears, she holds a slot on Metro FM, SABC 3’s Top Billing, has a lingerie line with Woolworths, is the face of Revlon, and has hosted countless prestigious awards ceremonies and corporate functions.

In the process B has garnered a huge fan following and has been dubbed Mzansi’s ‘IT girl’.

Of course, being in the public eye has not been all glitz and glam for Bonang, who has received her fair share of controversy, especially when it comes to her messy romances hogging headlines.
Let’s take a trip down memory lane of the male celebs to whom Bonang has been romantically linked

Former Skwatta Kamp rapper, Slikour
Bonang and Slikour’s whirlwind romance blossomed shortly after she burst onto the entertainment scene in 2007, but it was short-lived and they broke up within a year.

At the time, rumour had it that Slikour dumped Bonang on Facebook, but eight years later they set the record straight, explaining that there was no controversy or drama attached to their break-up.

Euphonik

B and Euphonik were an item for the longest time, with word on the street being that they even spoke about marriage.

Euphonik and B seemed to be the perfect ‘power couple’. But then things started to unravel and their relationship was splashed across newspapers amid an assault charge B laid against Euphonik, which was withdrawn soon after.

More recently, B and Euphonik’s messy break-up made its way back into the news, with Euphonik taking aim at her on social media.

Itumeleng Khune

Remember that club incident in 2014? Soccer star Itu Khune, who was linked to Minnie Dlamini at the time, allegedly touched Bonang inappropriately, which led to an argument between Itu and Euphonik.

The scandal was splashed across newspapers around the country, with rumours that Itu and Bonang had had a fling. Nothing ever came of those rumours.

Siphiwe ‘Shabba’ Tshabalala

Everyone knows that Siphiwe is head-over-heels in love with former Miss SA Bokang Montjane but there was a time when he too was rumoured to have been misty-eyed over B.

At the time, speculation was rife that B and Shabba grew quite close while she was presenter on Kaizer Chiefs FC TV. Whether there was any truth in those rumours has remained a mystery.

AKA and Bonang

AKA and Bonang’s whirlwind romance has hogged headlines for the past nine months.

Despite denying any romantic involvement between them at first, these lovebirds have definitely made a notable U-turn. Initially trying to keep their romance under the radar B and AKA now can’t help showing off their feelings to the world.
