Moehydien Pangaker has been sentenced to nine life terms.
Pangaker was found guilty of 21 of the 27 charges he faced in October.
These include eight counts of rape of a minor, s.e.xual assault exploitation of children, among others.
He was convicted of the kidnapping and killing of eight-year-old Tazne van Wyk in Elsies River in Cape Town in February 2020.
NPA spokesperson Eric Ntabazalila says they are delighted with the sentence.
“He hasn’t shown any remorse, nor pleaded guilty to any of the charges,” he said.
“He left it to us to prove the case.”
