Elsies River community visits Tazne Van Wyk’s family

Community members and friends are offering their support to the family of Tazne Van Wyk. The eight-year-old’s murder sent shock waves through the Elsies River community in Cape Town.

Cape Town Mayor Dan Plato is among those who offered the Van Wyk’s condolences.

Plato says the protests cannot be a one-time thing.

“We are fed up with the violence, we have hade enough of the violence and we cannot just continue to sit in our offices,” Plato said.
