The fire, which broke out on Sunday, was contained.
Several cars were destroyed and houses damaged in the blaze.
The City of Cape Town’s Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson Jermaine Carelse said: “As we enter day three of this incident, the city’s Fire and Rescue Service has scaled down considerably in terms of staff and appliances. We are monitoring the area for any hot spots or flare-ups at this stage.”
