Our client requires the service of a Systems Tester/QC.
Key performance areas:
Meet with system users to understand the scope of projects
Review and analyze system specifications
Collaborate with System Engineer to develop effective strategies and test plans
Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
Carry out stress, performance, functional and scalability testing
Write and execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
Design and develop automation scripts when needed
Evaluate product code according to specifications
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
Create logs to document testing phases and defects
Provide objective feedback to software development project teams
Work with cross-functional teams to apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate must have:
Matric with a BSc/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
2 years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
Experience in project management and QA methodology
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
High attention to detail
Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Ability to readily adapt to change within a dynamic agile environment
Proven organizational skills with the capability of working towards tight deadlines
