Our client in the banking institutions is seeking a Systems Analyst/Designer III (Identity and Access Management) that will join the information technology team. The position is based in Sandton.

Minimum requirements:

Degree/ Diploma/ National Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science
4 – 6 years’ systems analysis experience
2 – 4 years’ work experience in a relevant information security related business environment
Knowledge of security concepts in the broader Access Management related environment
Experience with Identity IQ and Security IQ
Experience with Data Access Governance
Understanding of business and systems landscapes within the banking/ insurance/ IT environment
Knowledge of security concepts in the broader Identity and Access Management related environment

Role Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to provide the Data Access Governance with specialist system analysis capacity, capable of interpreting the enterprise unstructured data landscape and translate it into Security IQ system on-boarding

Responsibilities:

Specialist advice and counsel to functional/ and non-functional user personnel and projects teams on the technical domain
Work collaboratively with stakeholders, provides advice to business on best demonstrated practiced for the Security IQ system
Identifies and resolves most complex technical issues related to the Security IQ system (final point of resolution before consulting externally)
Documentation of all processes, procedures and standards that enable the Security IQ system is maintain and communicated
Develop optimum solutions that meet both business and technology requirements (performance, cost, sustainability, capacity, ROI)
Analyse, document and influence integration of source systems with Data Access Governance capability through end-to-end system analysis
Focus on integration across the system landscape and manage operational impact of proposed solution
Assist Business Analyst, the on-boarding team and the business/risk owners to understand end-to-end integration, as well as weak points in the designed controls and/or integration mechanisms
Determine the technical complexity of integration of new systems to assist with prioritizations and demand management
Incorporate specific focus on business controls needed in data access management-related processes/capabilities
