The big news in the hip hop streets is that American rap DJ, Sway Calloway will be heading to South Africa just in time for this year’s #CastleLiteUnlocks concert.
After watching some of South Africa’s finest rappers fly over to the States to rap for him, Sway appears to be ready to bring his influence to Mzansi and if you could trust anybody to bring him to our shores, it’s definitely the Castle Lite crew.
Sway took to social media to announce his upcoming plans when he said,
“Yooo, @SwaysUniverse is heading to SOUTH AFRICA! I can’t wait to host the #CastleLiteUnlocks cypher with Johannesburg’s hottest hyenas 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Who should be on my radar?? #SwayColdCyphers”

Sway has maintained a strong relationship with South Africa’s hip scene after inviting a number of our biggest rappers to his breakfast radio show, Sway in the Morning. The most recent guest was actually hip hop DJ, PH while Stogie T’s freestyle had Twitter servers on near-overload, such was the buzz around the rapper’s verse.
One rapper who will be hoping for an opportunity to rap for Sway is Reason. The Azania hitmaker made headlines this year when he prompted his fans to start sharing the hashtag #GetReasonOnSway.
