Suspects accused of beating a man to death remanded in custody

Three suspects accused of beating a man to death in Carolina in Mpumalanga appeared in court on Monday.

They have been remanded in custody while their case has been postponed to next week.

They allegedly kidnapped Thulani Sibanyoni and murdered him last Friday, using steel rods.

The accused are the Supermarket Manager, the assistant manager and the security officer at a local Spar.

They’ve been charged with murder, assault with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm, and kidnapping.
