Mystery surrounds murder of 6 people
It’s like something straight out of a horror movie. Six decomposing bodies were found in a building in the Johannesburg CBD and a 20-year-old man was in custody.
Now the work begins on unravelling the gruesome story.
He’s made his first court appearance ahead of an identity parade to confirm his identity.
Only then will we know his name.
S.e.x workers and gender activists turned out to show their support at the Johannesburg magistrate’s court.
They’re furious over the horrific discovery of the bodies, believed to be sex workers, in various stages of decomposition on Sunday.
The minimum prescribed prison sentence for a schedule 6 murder charge is life imprisonment.
He’s back in court next week.
