Katlego Maboe fell from grace after a video of his wife accusing him of giving her an STD went viral. This caught many by surprise as the star has always kept a clean image in the public eye. In the video, Katlego admitted to cheating with a woman on a work trip. Following the video, the presenter lost out on all of his sponsorships and endorsement. He was relieved from his duties as a presenter on SABC 3’s Expresso.
In a statement shared on Instagram on the 23rd of October 2020, Maboe did admit to being unfaithful but denied ever being abusive to his partner. He also made it clear that he is putting the interests of his child first and asked to deal with the matter privately.
