09H29 Wednesday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a structural collapse at a construction site in Clare Estate in Durban.
Reports from the scene indicate that two adult male construction workers were by building a wall when the structure collapsed on both of them.
The Ethekwini Fire and Rescue Services managed to free both men from the rubble.
Once freed the patients were assessed on scene and found to have sustained moderate injuries.
Once stabilised by medics on scene the patients were transported by various ambulance services to hospital for further treatment.
Circumstances leading up to the structural collapse will be investigated by the relevant authorities.
