Purpose of the job:
Receive, store, and issue materials, and other items from stockroom and warehouse.
Keep records and compile stock reports.
Induction training and training on raw material area, work procedures and instructions.
Full competence in this role is typically developed over 6 months – 1 year
Preferred Minimum Requirements:
Preferably Matric (Gr. 12)
South African citizen
Computer literate
3-4 years of experience in stores
Experience with scanners
Ability to be a team player
Sober habits
Well-presented
Fluent in English
Critical knowledge and skills requirements:
Knowledge:
Understanding of Stores Stock Control & Principles
Knowledge understanding of stock receiving practices and work practices procedures
Knowledge and understanding of minimum and maximum stock level quantities and practices
Skills:
Knowledge and understanding of OHS procedures and practices within the stores’ environment
Sound mathematical knowledge
Analytically inclined Understanding of Stores Stock Control & Principles
