Victoria & Alfred Hotel, based in the Waterfront precinct, is looking to fill the position of F&B Storeman/Clerk. The successful candidate will need the following attributes.

Duties & Responsibilities: –

Receive & forward all goods & deliveries
Able to follow standards for issuing & receiving stock
Monitor & take inventory on regular basis
Maintain clear & organised records to ensure all reports & invoices are filed & stored accordingly.
Responsible for the day-to-day check on the storage facilities for upkeep & hygiene.
Responsible to verify all goods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note & agreed quantity has been received.
Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean & tidy & in strict compliance with hygiene regulations.
Ensure the quantity requested and the quantity issued always matches.
Ensure store requisition form is signed by the person collecting the goods & enter into the Inventory/Materials Management System.
Conduct physical stock audits on a regular basis as advised by the Financial Controller
Deliveries and collections on request
Any other duties that may be required

Must be able to work shifts
Computer literate with proficiency in MS office packages.
Must have a valid driver’s licence
Must have F&B experience
