JOB DESCRIPTION: Stockroom Controller
· Reports to:
o Store Manager/Assistant Manager
· Objective:
o Maximize sales and customer service, maintain stock rooms and keep them well organized, and perform necessary housekeeping duties.
· Job Duties:
o Practice professional salesmanship within the guidelines of store policy and department procedures to achieve maximum sales and provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.
o Handling of cash and/or finances
o Receive and verify all merchandise according to Company policy and procedures.
o Maintain a neat and organized stockroom.
o Ensure that merchandise is properly tagged and attractively displayed.
o Ensure that transfers & special orders are handled efficiently.
o Communicate stock replenishment needs to the Store Manager.
o Develop and maintain product knowledge of the merchandise.
o Be aware of, and implement store policies and procedures.
o Conform to the Company dress code and present an image that is consistent with the Company standard.
o Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
