My client is seeking to employ a Stock Controller.
The company is based in Cape Town.
Key responsibilities:
Receiving & sending of all required stock.
Processing of all stock transfers.
Weekly cycle counts.
All stock to be rotated.
Ensuring all stock items dispatched are supported by the correct paperwork.
Overs & under reports streamed on a weekly basis.
Notification of stock shortages and recommend stock level changes.
Ensure that all stock items received are as per documentation.
JDE reports to be pulled and checked daily.
All pick slips for product range must be confirmed and when shipments arrive, backorders must be released.
Filing of all documentation daily.
Assist with delivery & collections of loan set & stock from customer, airport & or courier.
Preparation & participation of monthly stock takes.
Adherence to all company policies & procedures.
Checking, packing & correctly completing waybills for stock returns back to Suppliers.
Assist with pulling, packing & IBT of stock.
Our business runs a 24-hour operation and you will be required to work shift and call duty as agreed and directed by your Line Manager.
Required Skills
Stock Controller experience : 5 to 6 years
Candidate Requirements
Minimum requirements
Grade 12 with 5 years stock control experience
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Valid driver’s license with own vehicle
Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure
Able to function independently, without constant supervision.
Able to work after hours, shift and call rosters
Previous experience working with hospital loan sets & stock control an advantage
Computer literate
Previous experience with JDE an advantage
Accuracy and adherence to work procedure essential
Fluency in English
Preference will be given to candidates residing in close proximity Rondebosch.

Must have a high degree of pride in work performed
Preference will be given to a non-smoker
