Some Durban areas still without power

Parts of Durban are still in darkness following an explosion at Klaarwater substation on Tuesday.

The eThekwini Municipality says the damage could have been caused by lightning and strong winds, but this is unconfirmed for now.

Technicians resolved most of the issues within two hours but on Wednesday, some areas were still without power.

The explosion created panic among some residents who witnessed it.
