#Statecaptureinquiry hears testimony on law enforcement

Former Ipid boss Robert McBride will be cross-examined at the state capture inquiry.

McBride has previously postponed appearing before the commission for questioning.

In his testimony, he implicated some members of law enforcement agencies.

McBride told the commission that the North West head of commercial crime investigations, Brigadier Daniel Ncube, targeted Ipid officers who were investigating disgraced former police commissioner Kgomotso Phahlane.

Former KwaZulu-Natal Hawks head Johann Booysen is also scheduled for cross-examination.
