Stage 4 load-shedding to continue until Friday
Eskom says Stage 4 load-shedding will continue until Friday. The power utility is blaming further unplanned breakdowns at power plants for this.
Eskom said in a statement that it expects load-shedding of various stages to continue into the weekend. The faulty Koeberg unit has now been repaired, but will only be back in service by Sunday.
Eskom says it is using emergency generation reserves to supplement supply.
