Stage 3 rolling blackouts from 4pm

Eskom says Stage 3 power cuts will be implemented from 4pm Tuesday afternoon. The heightened rolling blackouts will last until 5am Wednesday morning and will be repeated for the rest of the week.

Stage 2 will be implemented between 5am and 4pm daily.

1/2 Stage 3 loashedding will be implemented from 16:00 today until 05:00 tomorrow morning. This will be repeated everyday for the remainder of the week. Stage 2 loadshedding will be implemented from 05:00 tomorrow morning until 16:00.

The embattled utility is appealing to the public to use electricity sparingly.
