Masechaba Ndlovu takes us through her spiritual journey

Masechaba Ndlovu has always been open about her spirituality and there have been rumours that the star is a Sangoma and her recent social media posts have convinced us that the broadcaster has accepted her calling.

Taking to Instagram, Masechaba poured fuel on the rumours when she posted a picture in Sangoma gear alongside Boity Thulo and Gogo Dineo. Under one of the pictures, Masechaba wrote a heartfelt caption about her journey with Gogo Dineo:

“My relationship with @gogodineo began 5 years ago when I invited her to be a guest on my primetime Talk Show on eTV. Thereafter, when I conceptualized Power Life, my radio talk show on Power FM, I brought her on as a resident traditional Healer and together, we built the most revolutionary broadcast feature of its time, where we unpacked African spirituality and facilitated the cultural and spiritual awakening of Africans all over the world. She is my friend, my lover, my teacher and my sister in healing. We will not stop. Africa is rising. #ProudlyAfrican #Thokoza.”
In 2018, Masechaba found herself in hot water after she allegedly put Babes Wodumo’s alleged relationship woes on blast during her Metro FM show.

In an interview with Azania, Masechaba admitted that her approach was unprofessional, “It went against the code of conduct of broadcasting… In that moment, not only did I break the rules, but I basically threw my entire career under the bus by trying to protect a young lady. I removed my professional cap, and I stopped being a broadcaster and I became a human, and I became a woman.”
