Mzansi’s top goalie Itumeleng Khune and sweetheart Sphelele are parents of a bouncing one-year baby daughter Amogelang Zenande Khune. On Sunday the exciting news that the couple were expecting twins made headlines. It was reported that the pair are expecting boys but that has not yet been officially confirmed.
The Amakhosi goalkeeper was born on 20 June 1987 and is currently 33 years old, a veteran in terms of footballing standards. Itumeleng Khune’s wife Sphelele is currently ten years younger than the renowned footballer.
It has been a norm that in most instances the husband has to be a bit older than his wife. Despite the age difference Khune and Sphelele are one of the best couples within the footballing circles in South Africa.
