Speaker declines ATM request for secret ballot during Phala Phala vote

The Speaker of Parliament has declined the African Transformation Movement’s request for a secret ballot on the Section 89 Independent Panel’s report.

At the same time, President Cyril Ramaphosa has once again been recused from the ANC NEC meeting to discuss the Section 89 Panel report on Phala Phala farm.

Monday’s special meeting is expected to decide Ramaphosa’s fate as some people are calling for his head, while others insist that he stays on and fight.
