Mzansi Celebs

Somizi and Mohale’s Union is almost here

The clock is ticking and it’s almost struck on Somizi & Mohale’s: The Union special to debut on Showmax and we cannot wait. Ever since the word of Somizi & Mohale‘s engagement made the rounds, all of Mzansi was in cahoots, picturing what the couples big day would look like, who would be there and what the theme would be. Of course, the standard for opulence and extravagance for the big day was expected, especially from Somizi, who we all know to be over the top and fabulous- ohhh shem!

Somizi and Mohale

And now thanks to Showmax , we have front row seats to watch how #SomHale planned everything leading up to the big day. Don’t get us wrong, Mzansi has been given a handful of teasers from fellow ZAlebs who attended as well as the lovely couple who have also shared one or two pictures on the gram but now we’re thirsty for more.

For those who missed out on how the couple met on Somizi’s own reality show, Living the Dream with Somizi, we would like to see a brief breakdown of how #SomHale has cemented themselves as one of Mzansi’s favourite couples. Since we all know that #SomHale spent every cent and every naira for their big day, we also know that the journey to planning the day was definitely filled with highs, lows and disagreements. Preparations for their big day has been as large scale as anybody could possibly imagine and we want to see it all.

Somizi and Mohale

Somizi threw a jaw-dropping Groomsmen party for the groom-to-be while his hubby Mohale was treated by his friends who threw him a surprise bachelor party with both male and female attendees present. Their wedding venue was kept very hush, hush and at one stage it was rumored to be taking place in Bora Bora, while other sources hinted it would be much closer to home. In the end, it was confirmed that their special ceremony will be taking place in Muldersdrift, Johannesburg.
