Solly Msimanga says David Makhura not acting on SIU report

DA Gauteng leader Solly Msimanga says Gauteng Premier David Makhura is full of empty promises when it comes to the SIU report and corruption.

He says none of the implicated officials are facing disciplinary action.

Msimanga delivered an alternative State of the Province Address on Thursday.

“The promise has been made that the SIU report will be acted upon,” he said.

“As we speak, right now none of the officials that had been implicated in the SIU have been made to face consequences.”

Msimanga said he would ensure the implicated parties face charges.
