Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 5 – 10 years’ experience in software development with the following skills:
• 5+ years of experience with modern JavaScript UI libraries such as Angular or React.
• Deep understanding of the systems development lifecycle, Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Deep understanding of databases and application services (e.g. queues, caching).
• Must be comfortable working in every part of a complex application and on other people’s work.
• Proficient in using CVS and SVN features.
• Knows how to branch and merge, use patches setup repository properties etc.
• Programming skills to include but not be limited to C#, MVC, Javascript/JQuery, SQL, LinQ, and HTML.
The following are prerequisites:
• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related IT field
• MCSA Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate
• Microsoft Azure
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• MCSD Microsoft Certified Solutions Professional
• MCSE Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert
• Microsoft Programming in C#,
• Microsoft Programming in HTML 5 with JavaScript and CSS3,
• Microsoft Developing ASP.NET MSV 4 Web Apps,
• Developing Windows Azure and Web services.
• Database Development Certification
• Strong background and skills in C#, SQL, CSS, JavaScript, Visual Studio, Git, REST API and Visual Basic.
• Familiarity in web frameworks such as ASP.Net, Angular and React.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle;
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD),
• Project Management skills
• Scrum/Agile and use of project tracking software;
• Relational Database management;
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Vast and in-depth knowledge of APIs
• Analytical thinker with problem solving skills.
• Creative individual with the ability to quickly pickup on new languages, technologies and frameworks.
