Social relief grant recipients can collect at Shoprite

COVID-19 grant beneficiaries can now withdraw their money at Shoprite group stores. The group says this will enable customers to receive their grants, buy groceries and pay their bills at a single location.

This could be any of its 1,286 supermarkets countrywide. Beneficiaries can also get paid at the South African Post Office and Pick n Pay and Boxer supermarkets.

The extension of the R350 social relief of distress grant for another year will support around 10 million unemployed people.
