Glitches disrupt social grant payments
Some social grant beneficiaries are unable to withdraw funds from ATMs and retailers due to technical glitches at Post Bank.
It says the glitches are also affecting withdrawals of the R350 Social Relief of Distress Grant.
The Bank has apologized, saying technical teams are working around the clock to resolve the problem.
Transactions via Sassa cards in Post Office branches are however not affected.
It’s not the first time the Bank’s faced this issue.
In November 2022 and again in January, beneficiaries could not access their money due to technical problems.
