VIDEO: Sangoma’s snake dance causes a stir
A snake dance, money, and Gucci bags placed at the home of a sangoma have infuriated many people.
In the video, gogo Indlunkulu ya Manzi is seen moving around like a snake. Then at the end, she laughs, leaving people confused.
Thule Nfeka posted the video on social media, telling users to open their eyes when it came to such people.
People have been questioning whether she was trying to lure clients in with her bags or prove something as she was moving around in that manner.
“People need help. Their lives are falling apart and we have those who prey on their vulnerability. It’s sickening,” said Ntombi Ngema on Facebook.
Lihle Mthombeni said this was annoying because it seemed like she was trying to lure people with the money.
She said if she really has ancestral powers, she would not be doing such because her ancestors would bring clients to her.
Senzo Mkhize said to show that this was a joke, the sangoma was even laughing in the video.
“What was the purpose of that dance? If she was trying to educate us about something, she would have explained what on earth is going on there,” said Senzo.
The publication tried to contact Gogo Indlunkulu ya Manzi but could not get hold of her.
