Gauteng: Friday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the R28 Boy Louw Street in Vereeniging.
Reports indicate that the driver of a bakkie lost control, crashing into a tree.
The patient, an adult female sustained serious injuries and required advanced life support to stabilize her.
Due to the nature of her injuries, a Netcare 911 helicopter ambulance was activated to airlift the patient to a specialist facility.
