Uzalo actor Sbu on being involved in a Car accident – It’s a lie

Actor Simphiwe Majozi leaves Uzalo fans in stitches with his hilarious acting skills. But news that he was involved in a car accident were not funny, as they were fake.

Simphiwe, who is known by Uzalo fans as Sbu, said people have no shame to spread fake news on social media.

“I was disappointed this week when I saw the Facebook post that I was involved in a car accident. This post was written by someone in some group and that person had a nerve to ask fans to pray. This was very disturbing because I had to explain to my friends and family who were in a state of shock,” said Simphiwe.

He said it was not the first time people spread fake news about him.

“Some impersonate me on social media and spread lies. This is not right, they must stop, I hate it,” he said.

Some few days ago Mbare Times published that actress Dineo Langa (nee Moeketsi) was fired from one of Mzansi’s most viewed television soapie, The Queen, reportedly after asking for a three-month break to shoot a movie.

However, a showrunner at Ferguson Films, Lauren Nell has come out to address the reports that Dineo was fired. “Her contract was not terminated. She is still on payroll until the end of May. Dineo was released to go and shoot her movie. Scripts had to be rewritten to accommodate this as she was on an ‘A’ storyline.
