Sibusiso Masina hoping for a stunt at Free State Stars

Masina is a free agent after parting ways with the Citizens at the end of last season. However, the 28-year-old is close to penning terms with Ea Lla Koto, according to a source.

Former Cape Town City midfielder Sibusiso Masina has resurfaced at Free State Stars where he hopes to land a contract. “Masina is training with Free State Stars,” says the source.

Stars recently signed striker Judas Moseamedi on loan from the Citizens, while they have also added Eleazar Rodgers, Tshepo Tema, Mpho Maruping, Maboke Matlakala, Judas Moseamedi, William Twala, Yusuf Jappie, Ricardo Ndiki, Bongani Mbuli, Linda Bhengu and Cesaire Gandze to their roster for 2018/19.

Meanwhile, the Nedbank Cup champions have parted ways with Mohammed Anas, Thamsanqa Teyise, Sello Japhta, Mumuni Abubakar, Thabo Maphakisa, Mpho Mathekgane, Katlego Mashego, Nhlanhla Vilakazi, Langelihle Ndlovu, Mduduzi Khumalo, Dylan Peterson and Jared Abrahams.
