A Zimbabwean lady has shot herself in the foot after she recorded herself abusing the baby she was supposed to be looking after. The lady, who MbareTimes.com understands was bosting while recording herself shoving her foot into the little toddler’s face while the toddler tried to sleep. In the viral video, she was speaking Shona, a Zimbabwean language.
MbareTimes.com has come across a saddening clip of an alleged housemaid abusing the baby who seems to be a year older. In the video, she can be seen putting her foot on the toddler’s face claiming how could she make use of her hands when she has feet for the job. The disturbed toddler can be seen trying to sleep but Claris keeps “feeding” her the foot.

There was widespread furor after the video was posted on social media by both South Africans and Zimbabweans who called for the arrest and persecution of the maid.
In the video, she can be heard boasting in Shona that she uses her feet to console the crying baby and how she will not be using her hands while she has feet.
“Chema, tinokutsika kudai oh, Precious, ku exerciser hutsinye kana munhu achichema. Unongomutsika kudai oh, oka zunguza zunguza zunguza kudai oh, kano nyarara. Ku exerciser hutsinye“, she says as she puts the baby to sleep.
According to sources, the maid was eventually arrested after being on the run since the video emerged. Different sources also claimed that the video was shot two months ago and the maid had since left the job and working somewhere else.
The video further aggravates the tension that’s currently facing Zimbabweans and foreigners at large in South Africa. South Africa is currently faced with a huge problem of illegal immigrants and joblessness among South Africans.
