Shopfitter with supervisory experience Wanted: Salary R15 000 to R22 000 per month

Role: To add value to the Projects Department, by assisting the PM through the project life cycle with day-to-day on-site & follow up activities of the projects. Customer point of contact on site installations (manual shop-fitting will be required and team-leading). An EXPERIENCED shop-fitter is essential for this role.

Duties:

– able to decipher floor plans and layouts

– communication on a high level required as you will need to liaise with PM of customer as well as management

– Hands on shop fitting experience is an inherent requirement, along with experience in leading/supervising a team of shop-fitters on site.

– Liaison with contractors & the professional team on shop-fitting progress.

– Client liaison on site, problem solving, solution driven.

– Feedback to our PM, ito issues/delays on site is essential. Constant communication required.

– Timelines are to be strictly adhered to, so time management is necessary.

– Lead the quality of workmanship as well as control of materials being installed, ensuring that the standard of the shop-fitting is one of high quality.

– Minimise snag-fixing by ensuring that the job is completed to the highest standard.

– Relay any shortages/changes/requirements to our PM

– Overtime work on site will be required. Flexibility in this regard is important.

Reporting structure:

– Reporting to the CT branch manager in terms of all administration & scheduling for installations

– Reporting to the PM in terms of progress/issues of project installations

– Reporting to the GM in terms of any project issues which cannot be resolved with the assistance of the branch manager / PM.
