Investigations continue into shooting of liquidator and son

Police investigations are continuing into are shooting of a prominent liquidator and his son.

Gunmen opened fire on their vehicle on the N1 North.

Cloete Murray was critically injured in the attack, while his son died on the scene.

“From the information we have, the father and son were traveling in a vehicle on the N1 North,” said Yusuf Abramjee, anti-crime activist.

“Near the New Road offramp… another vehicle opened fire. A few dozen shots were fired.”

Abramjee said Murray was hit at least twice in the head.
